I've tested the Dynavox sticks and it worked well. As you've said, this model is quite close to my usual Hickory 5B model. They're nice and solid. They suffered less than others and resisted way longer before breaking up. I think they're less cut by the cymbals than others model.

DynaVox are great sticks! This is what I was looking for over the years! I've used them for practicing purposes last week and the Xylopia-sticks came out as the favorite pair. Based on weight and feel. The Regular Cornus is a straight forward Rock & Roll stick and the Maple would be great for Jazz and Bigband music.
